My obsession, JAM!!! I started a 2 years ago, after picking
strawberries, I remembered that my grandmother use to make a strawberry-rhubarb jam with me that was TO DIE FOR!
I did a little research, and before you knew it I had made over 400 jars and 18 different flavors! This does not
include the 4 different types of apple sauce I make as well. I sold almost every jar, between craft fairs
and one friend who became my best customer ... The following year I made 800 jars, and 30 different flavors.
More craft fairs, and again sold almost every jar. This years goal is to make 1200-1600 jars (I will make them until
I pass out.) And I will hit the craft fairs hard this year. As the previous years were kind of willy-nilly.
Everyone seems to like it, especially since I make quite a few "low sugar" varieties. I will keep you posted as to when
and where I will be this year ...
What do you need to know about me ... hummmm...
Well, I am a great cook (I have confirmed statements on file for those who question that) I
love music, I can usually name that tune in 4 notes or less. I am a domestic type girl with a wild side. Some
have said I am a brunette Martha Stewart (only nicer.)
So I cook, sew, craft, knit, use power tools, can change a lock, re-glaze the windows ...
